Come Spring 20145 you’ll be keen to get started on your photobook or photo gift, but before you do, please check out these tips which will help you get the most fun out of your project.

Time

Whilst you could make your item very quickly, with photo books in particular you may prefer not to “auto-fill” and instead invest time to make most use of our free creative tools, add captions and free scrapbook art or carefully position, mask, frame, align and crop every individual photograph. This process can take anything from 2-4 hours.  Or longer if you wish, so you can always save your project and return to polish it to perfection.  That’s where the fun is. The more time you invest the happier you are likely to be with your masterpiece.  

Don’t forget to preview your book or gift before you complete your order.  It’s good practice to “check twice and order once!”

   

Photographs

You may have your digital photographs in numerous different places so please do get them together before you login. This will make the creative Fotosaurus process much easier, faster and fun.

Unless you are highly organised – hats off to you if you are -  most of us tend to have photographs in more than one place. They are likely to be on digital cameras, smart phones, IPads and tablets, memory cards, USB sticks, computer hard drives,  CDRs and external storage hard drives.  Have I missed anywhere?  If you invest time collating the specific pictures you want to feature before uploading them, the process will not only become much quicker but also much more enjoyable once you get into Fotosaurus.  Have fun and enjoy!
